My two favoritest OCs have not had any good art lately… Let’s fix that. Mith on the left, Nyloh on the right. Nyloh's hair is usually long, but I wanted to try cutting it. They’ve got neato new outfits, too. We can pretend they’re younger here. (He did turn out too short. Oh well.)
The story goes well. Still working on it, how many years later? 10 years… I’d better get busy!
“Love In The Ice” (opens in new window)
I listened to this song the whole time I worked on this picture. I’m wiped out, but …it was worth it.
My vision of The Dreamwell. It is the name of a forum I run, as well as a website or two connected to that forum, but as far as the object itself goes, I have never created a vision of it. I think it’s time.
Emrinn, the girl in the picture, is getting an overhaul very soon. This is the start of it. All kinds of story stuff is springing up out of this beautiful azure well of stars—-and I can’t wait to see what she shows me. I’ll talk about it someday, just not now…
(I put on wings and a halo because of video game class business. I’m not actually trying to infer anything religious, but I guess if you want to see it that way, that’s okay too.)
When I don’t feel well…
…cleaning makes me happy♥

How to Interpret Blood Spatters
1) Angular - If the victim was on the move, drops hit at an angle. The more oblique the impact, the longer the drop’s tail. The head points in the direction the person was traveling.
2) High Velocity - Misty, diffuse spatter is created by external force greater than 100 feet per second — which usually means a gunshot, an explosion, or (seriously) a sneeze.
3) Hair Impact - A traumatic impact between head and surface tends to leave a stain with feathered edges, like someone squished a loaded paintbrush against the wall.
4) Hair Swipe - If the smear fades out in one direction, the head was likely bloody before contact. The lightest edge of the swipe points in the direction the head was traveling.
5) Fabric Swipe - More fluid than hair swipes, these stains sometimes display the imprint of the bloodied clothing. T-shirt weaves are often the easiest patterns to decipher.

I just wanted to put this WIP up. I finished the line art and scribbled in some wings. I still don’t have any idea for color yet.
You know you’ve found something special when your family asks you to cook for them
Late-night cooking for self turned into feeding the family their breakfast, including the nephew who lives with us and works 50 hours a week. I made chicken fetuccini for myself, but the pot was so big (and I guess it smelled nice, haha) that the rest of the house woke up to eat some of it. Nephew got a plate of bacon and eggs and toast with blackberry jam for himself, and took some of the fetuccini in a sealed container for lunch.
…I feel embarrassed to admit it, but that moment when he looked at me and said “this is really good, thank you”, it made my day. I think…serving food to people you care about is something sacred. It gives me a reason to, I guess, feel worth something.
